  • After your purchase you’ll receive a booking email and your email address will be added to our exclusive Dark Roast mailing list where you’ll receive exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peeks and updates.
  • Ensure you use a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS as this is where you will receive your unique voucher code to reserve Dark Roast once the game becomes available.
  • If you are offered the opportunity to beta test the game prior to its grand opening (and you accept), you will have the price of your advanced ticket refunded.
  • We anticipate Dark Roast opening up sometime in September 2025. However, these things take time. Ultimately, the game will be released when it is ready – no matter how long that takes. As we get closer to the game being complete, this 20% discount will no longer be available, and you will have to purchase the tickets at full price. Purchasing these advance tickets early is the only way to save!

I didn't get into this business to get rich. I got into it because I am truly passionate about puzzle-making. I started out as a Geocacher, creating puzzle caches in my hometown, and when I went to my first escape room I was hooked and wanted to create my own games for others to play. Having completed just shy of 200 escape rooms at this point, and built 4 of them, I've seen what it takes to be the top escape room in the world, traveling around to play some of the world's best games.

Advance Ticket Terms and Conditions

"Dark Roast" Escape Room Experience

TICKET DETAILS

  • Discount: 20% off regular pricing for advance purchase
  • Quantity Limits: Minimum 2 tickets, maximum 4 tickets per purchase
  • Quantity Changes: To increase ticket quantity from 2 or 3 to maximum of 4, customer must call. Maximum limit of 4 tickets cannot be exceeded under any circumstances

RELEASE DATE AND PRICING

  • No Guaranteed Release Date: The "Dark Roast" escape room experience is currently under construction with no confirmed opening date. Release timing is at the sole discretion of Prototype Escape Games
  • Pricing Subject to Change: The current 20% discount rate may be removed at any time without prior notice. Once removed, tickets will only be available at full price
  • Advance Notice Not Required: Prototype Escape Games reserves the right to discontinue the advance ticket discount without notification to customers

RESERVATION PROCESS

  • Mailing List Enrollment: All advance ticket purchasers will be automatically added to our notification mailing list
  • Unique Promo Codes: When the experience becomes available, each customer will receive a unique promotional code via email to make their reservation
  • Reservation Required: Advance ticket purchase does not guarantee specific dates or times; separate reservation must be made using provided promo code

BETA TESTING PROGRAM

  • Selection Process: Prototype Escape Games may invite select advance ticket holders to participate in beta testing at our sole discretion
  • Refund for Beta Testers: Customers who are invited to and accept beta testing participation will receive a full refund of their advance ticket purchase price
  • No Guarantee of Selection: Beta testing invitations are not guaranteed and selection criteria are at company discretion

REFUND POLICY

  • No Refunds: Advance ticket purchases are final and non-refundable, except as specifically outlined in the Beta Testing Program above, if Prototype Escape Games is unable to complete construction of the "Dark Roast" experience, or if the experience is not completed by December 31, 2026
  • Project Cancellation: In the unlikely event that Prototype Escape Games determines it cannot complete the "Dark Roast" escape room experience, full refunds will be provided to advance ticket holders
  • Completion Deadline: If the "Dark Roast" escape room experience is not completed and available for reservation by December 31, 2026, full refunds will be automatically provided to all advance ticket holders
  • No Other Exceptions: Refunds will not be provided for any other reason including but not limited to: change of mind, scheduling conflicts, relocation, or extended development timeline

  • These terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of Prototype Escape Games LLC
  • Purchase of advance tickets constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions
  • Valid only for the "Dark Roast" escape room experience at Prototype Escape Games
